Sturgill Care Center Team's Giving Thanks for Hospice Fundraiser
We are proud to be helping with this year's "Giving Thanks for Hospice" campaign to support the Sturgill Hospice Care Center and HPH Hospice. Its generous financial support from our friends of hospice that allows HPH Hospice to provide hospice care to the entire community, even in the absence of insurance coverage.
HOSPICE IS ABOUT LIVING - Hospice is about ensuring the best quality of life by managing pain, reducing symptoms related to the diagnosis, and providing support at the end of life.
HOSPICE SUPPLIES EXTRA SUPPORT - HPH Hospice supplies extra support that caregivers and families can rely on. They provide patient care including symptoms management, emotional support and spiritual support, addressing issues most important to the patient's needs and wants.
PATIENT ADVOCATES - HPH Hospice ensures patient's wishes, needs and wants are carried out at the end of their life, focusing on improving the individual's quality of life.
CARE FOR THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY - In 2019, HPH Hospice provided $356,000 of charity hospice care to patients without insurance or the ability to pay for their care. This was possible because of the generous support of our community donors.
